Airtel GPRS and Airtel Live


Airtel provides two different type of Internet service for their customer as Airtel GPRS and Airtel Live. Airtel Live is free of cost and restricted to free sites whereas Airtel GPRS is paid service and you can access to the entire website and you can also connect your mobile Internet to PC. Anyway before take the benefit of Airtel GPRS and Airtel Live you must activate it in your mobile phone. After activating the GPRS in your mobile phone, you must setup GPRS setting in your mobile phone.
How to activate your GPRS and Airtel Live settings:
1.      you can simply call customer care of Airtel at 9954099540. They will provide the right the information to activate GPRS and Airtel Live in your mobile handset.
Or,
2.      Send MO to 2567 from your Airtel mobile (2567 is a toll free number).
You will receive settings for Airtel Live, Airtel mobile office i.e Airtel GPRS and Airtel MMS. Save the needed settings of your mobile phone.

If you want to surf Internet only in some limited site then it will be better to go for Airtel Live, specially when you are using Free GPRS trick that will be useful for you.
To activate Airtel Live in your mobile phone simply call to the toll free number of Airtel to activate it.


Manual Airtel GPRS Settings
  1. Homepage – any page you want to set.
  2. User Name – Blank
  3. Password – Blank
  4. Proxy – Enabled/yes.
  5. Proxy and Server Adress – 202.56.231.117
  6. Proxy and Server Port – 8080
  7. Data bearer – GPRS or Packet Data.
  8. Access Point Name – airtelgprs.com
  9. Authentication Type – Normal
  10. Use preferred access point – No

Manual Airtel live settings
  1. Account Name – Airtel_live
  2. Homepage – http://live.airtelworld.com
  3. Username – Blank
  4. Password – Blank
  5. Proxy – Enabled/yes
  6. Proxy and Server Adress – 100.1.200.99
  7. Accespoint Name – airtelfun.com
  8. Proxy and Server Port – 8080
  9. Data bearer – GPRS/ Packet Data
  10. Authentication Type – Normal
